National Account Manager, CP - Charlotte

We are beginning a search for a National Account Manager, U.S. Consumer Products, to cover the Southeastern United States, including Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee. 


This position will have a personal territory of approximately 20 accounts. Some of the top accounts include Publix, Dollar General, and Harris Teeter.  The position will require an average of 3-5 nights per month of travel. The travel will be both by car and airplane.


To be considered for the position, you must have at least 5 years of sales experience which involved managing a sales agency network. In addition, a very strong preference for sales experience to the retail trade. This would include the ability to negotiate a variety of programs and promotions with and from key accounts. 


Skills & Qualifications

  • Four year degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience which involved managing a sales agency network.
  • Selling experience at the headquarters level required.
  • Strong and highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong and highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations.
  • Strong sales personality with seasoned and savvy negotiating and relationship skills.
  • Advanced administrative, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A proven ability to work effectively with major accounts.
