Warehouse Clerk

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in our Grand Prairie, TX location. In this role, you will Perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following:  shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, or purchasing.


Available Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Day to Day Role

  • Load or unload freight or product manually or via forklift, lift truck or pallet jack 
  • Move materials to appropriate storage space
  • Coordinate and schedule work for dock management, routing and sequencing of trailers or rail freight 
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory control responsibilities
  • Prepare, process and distribute shipment documentation for all inbound and outbound services
  • Liaise with internal and external transport companies and departments to coordinate, prioritize and expedite in-coming and out-going shipments
  • Track and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Create, compile, and deliver required reports
  • Record, control, and monitor information in ERP or other computer systems
  • Prepare and pack goods for shipment
  • Verify, compare, and confirm type and quality of shipped or received goods against Bill of Lading, invoices, or pick tickets
  • Weigh, count, and inspect the state of incoming and outgoing products
  • Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor 
  • Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures

Core Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following

  • Willingness to work additional hours including weekends, holidays, and/or overtime

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • One (1) year prior warehouse or material handling experience
  • Experience using ERP or other shipping and receiving software
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
