What you’ll need…
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, plus three (3) years of related engineering experience, or
-
Associate’s degree and nine (9) years of related engineering experience
-
Experience analyzing production equipment, processes, and materials to solve issues
-
Knowledge of statistical and quality methodologies (SPC, SQC, 5S, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, DOE)
-
Ability to write and manage Process Control and Process Reaction Plans
-
Experience with thermoforming, injection molding, print, and/or paper equipment and processes
-
Understanding of engineering science and technology principles
-
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
-
Design skills for precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
-
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for effective product manufacture and distribution
-
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to prioritize and manage projects, deadlines, and tasks independently
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficiency in English for effective training and ongoing communication about safety and quality
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in LEAN Manufacturing and/or Process Management
