Our Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer service for customers located in Mexico through the timely and accurate entering and reviewing of orders and responding to and resolving customer related issues.

 

Day-to-Day Role:

  • Receive, expedite and follow up on customer orders, returns, credit memos, debit memos, and failed invoices for an assigned geographic region
  • Review pricing-related customer deductions from the Credit Department and issue accurate credit memos as necessary
  • Review and price customer orders for an assigned geographic region; contact customers when there will be a difference in price from their order to our invoicing
  • Communicate with customers, sales force, and other departments on orders status to research, problem solve, analyze and resolve complex customer issues
  • Process Competitive Activity Reports and accurately maintain customer specific pricing information
  • Understand and interpret customer needs and wants; may regularly experience demanding customers
  • Prioritize work in order of importance and manage deadlines to meet the needs of the customer
  • Work closely with the Graphics Department to process custom print orders
  • Work closely with the Master Data Department to keep customer information updated and accurate

 

In addition to the Bilingual Customer Service Representative duties listed above, the Bilingual Customer Service and Administrative Support Representative will produce translations, monitor general in-boxes and provide other administrative support to the team.  

Core Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates for these positions must possess all of the following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Requires excellent verbal and written skills in both Spanish and English, necessary for communication with internal and external customers; verbal skills to include a pleasant phone demeanour
  • Six (6) months experience in a customer service field
  • Ability to prepare outlines, reports, letters, and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise, professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and make sound decisions without immediate supervision
  • Must be able to stay focused and engaged in a work environment that is open and active
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment, characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to exhibit creativity and flexibility in solving customer problems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Data entry experience
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to communicate in Portuguese
