We’re seeking a Senior Data Scientist to provide advanced analytics and data science support for optimization initiatives, strategic planning, and high‑impact business decisions. In this role, you’ll lead complex data analysis, develop sophisticated models, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that maximize business value, primarily supporting the Supply Chain organization.

You’ll partner closely with Analytics leadership and collaborate across Business Units, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to deliver accurate, timely, and influential insights—from operational teams to executive leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Analytics leadership to anticipate and address evolving business data and analytics needs
  • Break down complex business problems into data‑driven analytical frameworks
  • Clean, integrate, and assess large, complex internal and external datasets (market, customer, competitor, product, import, or company data)
  • Ensure data accuracy and support enhancements to analytical tools within your area of expertise
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical and statistical models
  • Perform correlation, regression, time‑series, and exploratory analyses to uncover key business drivers
  • Identify actionable insights that influence strategic and operational decisions
  • Communicate findings clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive leadership
  • Standardize, optimize, and automate analytical processes
  • Build and maintain supporting data and information structures
  • Continuously improve data quality, workflows, and analytical tools

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proven advanced experience in business data analytics with a strong record of delivering measurable results
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, cloud‑based computing, and programming using SQL and Python
  • Hands‑on experience with:
    • Machine learning (supervised and unsupervised methods)
    • Applied statistical analysis (regression, inferential statistics, time series)
    • Exploratory data analysis and clustering techniques
  • Experience using BI platforms and data visualization tools
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new analytical tools and technologies
  • Experience with operational excellence, lean methodologies, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a strong bias for action
  • Willing to travel up to 20% to various corporate, manufacturing and distribution sites

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related quantitative field
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, Salesforce CRM, and/or pricing tools such as PriceFX
  • Demonstrated business acumen in manufacturing and/or food & beverage packaging industries
