ERP Architect

The Systems Architect/Engineer is the leading expert responsible for technical oversight and planning of the administration, maintenance, and infrastructure of Dart's server and cloud based applications in the areas of ERP (SAP, Salesforce, etc.), web-based applications, database systems, integration, collaboration technologies, and general systems administration.

 

Day-to-Day Role:

  • Develop and drive the implementation of procedures and best practices which maintain or improve the quality and speed of responsible systems
  • Provide a source of expertise in incorporating and implementing solutions
  • Regularly evaluate the health and performance of responsible systems and ensure remediations are made when issues are identified
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments and champion changes to current standards, procedures, and solutions
  • Provide structural designs for projects from a technical perspective
  • Produce technical process and procedure documentation
  • Work with the Business Continuity and Backup & Recovery teams to develop, publish, and implement plans which assure disaster preparedness and high availability for responsible systems
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Architecture Team and Architecture Review Board to produce and update the technology roadmap
  • Work closely with the members of the Systems Administration Organization to ensure the success of the team's duties and responsibilities
  • Provide mentorship and training to the associate, mid, and senior level administrators in the Systems Administration Orgainzation
  • Act as a final escalation point for technical issues

 

Core Skills & Qualifications:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study and six (6) years of Database, ERP, and/or Systems Administration or equivalent experience, OR
    • Associate’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study and eight (8) years of Database, ERP, and/or Systems Administration or equivalent experience, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of Database, ERP, and/or Systems Administration or equivalent experience
  • Eight (8) years of experience with administering ERP systems that include SAP and/or Salesforce
  • Six (6) years of experience with administering Microsoft and Linux based systems
  • Four (4) years of experience with ERP systems Architecture/Design
  • Four (4) years of experience administering environments that include multiple interconnected ERP environments from different vendors
  • Four (4) years of experience creating technical architecture documentation and diagrams
  • Three (3) years of experience administering cloud-based systems
    Three (3) years of experience creating PowerShell and/or Linux Shell Script
  • Familiarity with virtualization, networking, Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, and DNS
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally navigate challenging situations in a customer service environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in installation, administration, support, and management of any active Windows server environment that comprises of active directory, application, file and print servers
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with development/programming
  • Experience with SAP Business Suite on HANA and/or S/4HANA
  • Experience with Oracle Database
  • SAP, Salesforce, Linux, Cisco, and Microsoft Certifications
