We have the ability to hire at the Associate, Mid, or Senior level for this position. In this role, you'll work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site at our corporate office in Mason, Michigan, and up to 2 days remote.

The IT Applications Project Manager will be a team player, facilitating successful completion of projects for departments across the organization, while applying project management methodologies. You will work within Dart’s portfolio office, whose structure will help you define project schedules and work plans, and effectively allocate resources. IT Project Managers are key in helping the company reach its strategic objectives.

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal Associate level candidate must possess all of the following:
- Associate’s degree with an emphasis in computer science or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience effectively managing and executing small to mid-sized projects or activities
- Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners
- Basic understanding or awareness of multiple project management and implementation methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Education or professional experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or a similar Project Management software
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions to end-users
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- SharePoint experience
The ideal Mid-level candidate must possess all of the following:

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience

Five (5) years of experience in managing application development or commercial off the shelf software implementations

Experience using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or a similar Project Management software

Experience with a range of project management methodologies including an understanding of Waterfall and Agile

Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Experience managing a team of people

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting

Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management

Proven leadership skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain difficult issues

Successful track record of managing large projects

Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in managing international software projects and/or multi-lingual abilities
- PMP Certification
- SharePoint experience
- Ability to travel internationally
The ideal Senior level candidate must possess all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science or related field of study and eight (8) years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight (8) years of experience in managing application development or commercial off the shelf software implementations
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or a similar Project Management software
- Experience with a range of project management methodologies including an understanding of Waterfall and Agile
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Experience managing a team of people
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting
- Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management

All levels may require:
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required
