IT SAP Solution Manager Analyst

Dart is looking for an IT SAP Solution Manager Analyst that is responsible for technical set up, configuration, and maintenance of Solution Manager. You will support and develop Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes at Dart that are supported within the SAP Solution Manager environment such as Business Process Monitoring, Technical/Job Monitoring, Change Request Management, Solution Documentation, Operations Control Center, Custom Code Management, and Test Management.


Day-to-Day Role:

  • Implement (and senior level will plan and direct) Solution Manager such as tool sets for global SAP ERP automated testing processes with responsibility for SAP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), production support of Change and Release Management (ChaRM), Operations Control Center (OCC), Business Process Change Analyzer (BPCA), Business Process Monitoring (BPMon) and Custom Development Management Cockpit (CDMC) 
  • Work closely with multiple cross functional/global teams to support the design, development and implementation of the Solution Manager platform
  • Maintain Solution Manager's standards, procedures and documentation
  • Administer (and senior level will maintain) the Solution Manager training program
  • Maintain schedule conditions and start conditions
  • Enhance warning and error check messages
  • Leverage standard reporting for audit and compliance, operational reporting and transport aging
  • Collaborate with other teams on implementation and support
  • Visualize, define and specify custom applications with the assistance of a programmer
  • Drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and apply technical alternatives
  • Champion Dart's change management program 
  • Mentor other analysts (senior level)

 

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal mid-level candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Two (2) years of development experience in Solution Manager
  • Knowledge of application life cycle and test methodologies
  • Knowledge of migration/transport of code/configurations
  • Knowledge of ITIL, SOX, and change management best practices 

The ideal senior level candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Four (4) years of development experience in Solution Manager
  • Experience with proven application life cycle and test methodologies
  • Experience with migration/transport of code/configurations 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in implementing IT best practice frameworks such as ITIL or CoBIT 

In addition, both levels must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in information systems or a related field of study
  • Experience with SAP configuration
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
  • Proven analytical problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITIL,ISO/IEC Foundation, or Six Sigma certified
  • SharePoint experience
  • Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server experience
