Entry Level Molded Fiber Process Engineer

The Entry-Level Process Engineer will support Dart's Molded Fiber manufacturing operations through process improvement, project execution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with plant teams and engineering leaders to support critical operational and capital projects across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate is humble, hands-on, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. This role requires the flexibility to travel to manufacturing locations and actively engage on the production floor.

What You'll Do

• Support Molded Fiber manufacturing operations through process analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in critical engineering and capital project work across multiple facilities.
• Assist with process troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and technical teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collect and analyze process data to support engineering recommendations and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and project reports.
• Participate in equipment startups, process validation activities, and new technology implementations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities to support projects and operations as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Industrial, Plastics, Paper Science, or related Engineering discipline.
• Internship, co-op, research, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
