PTP ERP Analyst

This position will have a focus on and support the area of Procure to Pay (PTP).

 

 

The PTP ERP Analyst will analyze and define SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and other software functions, business functions, processes and user needs; perform functional configuration and maintenance tasks for technologay solutions according to operational and business needs.

 

Day to Day Role:

Mid level will:

  • Gather, validate and translate business requirements into cohesive, integrated, designs and software development specifications
  • Develop best practice business knowledge in order to support business integration into an SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and other solutions
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to all levels of users
  • Perform system configuration and support within SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other software, including custom and commercial off the shelf (COTS) programs
  • Support the development of training content for business users and provide functional support to users
  • Work on design, development and support of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow objects, working with development resources. 
  • Perform functional unit testing, string testing, integration and user acceptance testing

Senior level will:

  • Lead the gathering and analysis of business requirements and processes; define requirements, identify and resolve systems solutions
  • Develop and mentor others in best-practice business knowledge in order to support business integration into  SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other solution
  • Lead translation of conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to all levels of users
  • Lead system configuration and support within SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other software, including custom and commercial off the shelf (COTS) programs; support the development of training content for business users and provide functional support to users
  • Lead design, development and support of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflow objects, working with development resources.  Perform functional unit testing, string testing, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members

Both levels will:

  • Write and execute test scenarios and scripts; ensure risks are mitigated or eliminated in partnership with the Security and Controls team
  • Support portfolio and project management processes; estimate project work effort as needed
  • Create analysis and development documentation and Organizational Change Management (OCM) training materials
  • Maintain technical expertise, keeping current with evolving processes, systems, and technologies; share that knowledge with IT colleagues, business partners and management

 

Core Skills and Qualifications:

Mid level requires:

  • Three (3) years of SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other technical analysis work experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or HR systems
  • Experience with how to configure and apply SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other software solutions to solve business requirements in an implementation project

Senior level requires:

  • Six (6) years of SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other technical analysis work experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or HR
  • Multiple examples of experience with how to configure and apply SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft or other software solutions to solve business requirements in an implementation project
  • Prefer experience in mentoring other analysts

Both levels require:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • ​​​​​​​​​Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in STEM fields preferred, OR
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent and six (6) years of IT experience, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of IT experience​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
  • Excellent communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions to business partners
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required
