Our Payroll Supervisor leads a team of Payroll Technicians who support over 40 locations across the U.S. and Canada in a highly technical and rapidly evolving model.  As a key member of the Payroll Management Team, you will drive complex processes towards standardization while also allowing for flexibility when needed. Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal Payroll Supervisor candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, business or related field of study and three (3) years of payroll or related experience, OR
    • Associate’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, business, or related field of study and five (5) years of payroll or related experience, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of payroll or related experience
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge of a multi-state/multi-national payroll environment, including payroll taxes and payroll accounting skills
  • Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions
  • Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the big picture
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • SAP or large ERP experience
  • Canadian payroll experience
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations as it relates to Garnishments, Child Support, Tax levies, FLSA and various State labour laws
  • Payroll experience in a large, multi-state manufacturing environment
  • Payroll software implementation experience
