Product Manager - Food Service

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and grow a portfolio of food products serving the U.S. Foodservice channel. In this role, you will drive product and business strategy, lead cross-functional execution, and deliver strong P&L performance—all while ensuring the long-term health and profitability of your product portfolio.

This is a highly visible, mid-level role ideal for a Product Manager who enjoys blending strategy, analytics, and execution and wants to make a measurable impact on the business.

What You’ll Do

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of assigned product lines, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and proactively manage a portfolio of products, driving revenue growth and margin expansion
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute annual and multi-year product and business strategies
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance to build budgets and financial plans, including revenue, gross margin, COGS, pricing, and portfolio mix
  • Support and influence pricing strategy, including recommendations and implementation
  • Lead or sponsor cross-functional initiatives to deliver cost-reduction and profitability improvements without negatively impacting the customer experience
  • Manage all aspects of product lifecycle execution, including portfolio strategy, product positioning, pricing guidelines, SKU optimization, product enhancements, and commercialization
  • Identify, champion, and help commercialize new product development and innovation opportunities; serve as Project Sponsor when needed
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, markets, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and execution
  • Partner with Sales leadership on key customer relationships and provide product-line guidance to maximize growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with Marketing on brand strategy, messaging, and activation plans across channels
  • Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain on demand planning and forecasting to optimize service levels and inventory performance
  • Build compelling business cases to support innovation, capacity expansion, and investment decisions
  • Promote data-driven decision making, accountability, and continuous improvement across the business team

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • At least one of the following:
    • 2+ years of experience in a general business role supporting marketing or product management decisions, or
    • Demonstrated success in an Associate Product Manager role, consistently meeting performance expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with financial concepts such as ROI, NPV, financial statements, and DCF analysis
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change at multiple organizational levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and personal accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • SAP experience
  • Experience in the foodservice packaging or consumer packaged goods industries
