RPA Developer

The RPA Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of RPA driven automation throughtout the organization.  This position will review business processes, create technical documentation, complete testing, and provide production support for our automation environment. 

 

Day to Day Role:

  • Understand and analyze manual business processes to determine automation initiatives 
  • Develop and deliver automated business processes through robotic technology
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, user testing scripts, approvals, and other relevant documentation throughout development of automation processes
  • Assist the team in deployment, support, evaluation of potential RPA processes, and change management
  • Work with the IT department to understand impacts of patches/upgrades to existing systems/technology
  • Participate in code reviews and troubleshooting as necessary with internal and external resources
  • Update and maintain Developer Standards around RPA best practices

 

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of IT experience
  • UIPath RPA Developer Certificate
  • One (1) year of RPA development experience including design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, Python, VBS, etc.)
  • Experience working with varied levels of management and personnel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
  • Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestically
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call as required
