Recruiting Assistant

Our Talent Management team is in the market to build a team of Recruiting Assistants who will support our full-cycle recruiting process.  Our successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, collaborative team player with a knack for organization and a drive to make a difference in our organization and in our candidate's overall offer and onboarding experience. We need someone with the friendliness and eagerness to deliver such stellar customer service that your smile will be heard across the line to our candidates and colleagues on the other end of the phone.


You will have your hands in lots of different recruiting and onboarding tasks such as:

  • Creating job postings
  • Creating and delivering offers
  • Ordering drug tests and background checks
  • Initiating new hire processing in our data system
  • Preparing new employees for their first day with Dart

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of recruiting coordinator or relevant human resources administrative experience or
  • Two (2) years of general office or related experience working in a customer service capacity
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern recruiting methods and techniques
  • Team player with the ability to take direction from multiple team members

  • Excellent verbal communication skills including a pleasant phone demeanor

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Proven ability to adjust work schedule as appropriate to accommodate time-sensitive requests

  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize outstanding and completed tasks and provide status updates

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Experience using Microsoft Office including the ability to create basic reports, documents and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework towards a degree in HR or HR experience
  • Experience in a high volume recruiting environment
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and/or large employee data system
