Senior Financial Analyst
Turn financial insight into business impact.
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who enjoys going beyond the numbers to understand what’s driving the business and help leaders make better decisions.
In this role, you’ll partner across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, Product, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to analyze performance, develop forecasts, evaluate investments, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and return on investment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional who wants exposure to both business performance and strategic capital investment decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business leaders to understand goals and translate them into actionable financial plans.
- Develop and monitor financial forecasts for monthly IBP and annual AOP processes.
- Analyze financial performance and explain key drivers and variances versus plan, prior year, and prior periods.
- Evaluate business performance across areas such as pricing, incentive programs, cost centers, activity rates, inventory valuation, logistics costs, revenue, and margin.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations that translate complex information into meaningful insights for senior leadership.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses supporting new initiatives, cost savings, and investment opportunities.
- Build ROI and capital investment analyses, including NPV, IRR, and payback, for projects such as automation, capacity expansion, and new products.
- Lead capital portfolio reporting and analytics, including spend tracking, forecasting, commitments, risks, opportunities, and investment prioritization.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to determine whether projects delivered the financial benefits outlined in their original business cases.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve the consistency, accuracy, and usefulness of financial data.
- Support plant accounting activities during month-end and year-end close, as needed.
- Monitor industry, market, and competitive trends to provide additional insight for business decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a related financial role.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and business-case development skills.
- Ability to turn financial data into clear recommendations and actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and building relationships across an organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited lead times.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, strategic thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Experience supporting the Food Service or National Accounts business.
- Experience with capital investment analysis, manufacturing, supply chain, or plant finance.
Why This Role?
This isn’t just a reporting role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions around profitability, business performance, capital investments, and long-term financial outcomes, while partnering with teams across the organization.
If you’re an experienced financial analyst who likes connecting data to strategy and seeing your analysis influence real business decisions, we’d love to hear from you.#LI-AD2
