Dart Container is in the market for a Sr. Tax Planning Analyst to assist with:

  • Development and implementation of tax planning Strategies
  • Acquisitions, Dispositions and/or Merger Plans
  • Understanding/Documenting the application of applicable tax laws
  • Working on a wide variety of complex tax issues (federal, international, and state) impacting the company and the Dart family
  • Analysis of proposed and executed transactions for tax compliance reporting intricacies

 

Our successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree with a CPA or a Juris Doctorate degree and have at least three years of post-education tax experience under their belt.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

 

The ideal Tax Planning Analyst candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Accounting, preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant or Juris Doctorate degree
  • Licensed to practice as a CPA or in law in one of the fifty states
  • Three (3) years of tax experience
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestic and international 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport

 

The ideal Senior Tax Planning Analyst candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Accounting, preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant or Juris Doctorate degree
  • Licensed to practice as a CPA or in law in one of the fifty states
  • Five (5) years of tax experience
  • Experience with S Corps and consolidated C tax laws
  • Familiarity with common non-recognition provisions of the Internal Revenue Code
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestic and international
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with an emphasis in taxation
  • Tax planning and restructuring experience
