Treasury Analyst

The Dart family of privately held companies, which includes Dart Container Corporation and Dart Interests, utilizes Dart Finance Shared Services (DFSS) to deliver specialized tax, treasury, risk management and internal audit services to Dart affiliated entities through a highly cross-functional and cooperative work environment. As this position is within DFSS, the successful candidate’s responsibilities with Dart will span several different industries including hospitality, manufacturing, real estate management and development among other industries.

The Treasury Analyst completes financial reporting, financial analyses, daily cash or investment management functions, and/or projects.

Day to Day Roles

• Compile financial and other data to complete moderate-level analysis to support Treasury and company related activities
• Develop and/or present recommendations to management
• Provide support for routine and non-routine financial and other transactions that could involve capital structure, investments, projects, acquisitions, etc.
• Monitor domestic and foreign treasury operations or projects, identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve efficiency
• Review the daily cash position and related funding transfers
• Complete and/or review Treasury related projects or assignments
• Support the implementation of Treasury related projects
• Provide support to other departments or groups as requested
• Enforce, support and enhance internal controls
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and protect confidentiality
• Mentor and share knowledge to help develop the Treasury staff

Core Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Bachelor's or master's degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or related field and 3 - 6 years of treasury or accounting experience; equivalent related experience could be considered
• Demonstrated financial computation and analysis experience in the field of corporate finance, treasury, accounting, banking, or public accounting
• Demonstrated experience researching and assisting in the presentation of financial recommendations to management
• Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, CFA, CTP
• Cash management experience
• Treasury related experience to include responsibility for balancing daily cash, completing reporting for Accounting
• Experience with Bloomberg system and online banking systems
• Experience with Kyriba
• Experience with tax concepts
