Treasury Manager

You'll work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site at our corporate offices in Mason, Michigan, and up to 2 days remote.

Dart is on the search for a Treasury Manager who will focus on financial planning and analysis and investment oversight. This role will also have supervisory responsibilities. 

The Dart family of privately held companies, which includes Dart Container Corporation and Dart Interests, utilizes Dart Finance Shared Services (DFSS) to deliver specialized tax, treasury, risk management and internal audit services to Dart affiliated entities through a highly cross-functional and cooperative work environment. As this position is within DFSS, the successful candidate’s responsibilities with Dart will span several different industries including hospitality, manufacturing, real estate management and development among other industries.

Day-to-Day Role:

• Review monthly investment performance reporting prepared by the Investment Analyst that addresses portfolio concentrations, exposures to various sectors, securities, and duration levels in accordance with Investment Policy and other guidelines
• Back-up the Investment Analyst to execute investment and FX trades and gathering and disseminating market and other information to internal customers
• Work closely with the operating businesses and the Treasury cash management team to understand cash management system, account structure, capital needs, etc.
• Assist with managing investment banker relationships
• Provide insight and analysis to influence and assist with non-routine and strategic decisions that could involve capital structure, investments, acquisitions, etc.  This will also include preparing and presenting information to executive leadership
• Participate on and/or lead cross-functional/department teams on projects, as needed
• Provide direction and oversight of investment management and other related projects/assignments
• Enforce, support and enhance internal controls 
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and protect confidentiality
• Oversee and provide guidance to the Investment Analyst on the activities of various portfolios
• Review certain investment-related schedules prepared by the Investment Analyst
• Supervisory duties as assigned

Core Skills and Qualifications:
 

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or related field of study
• Ten (10) years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, accounting, banking, or public accounting, to include at least two (2) years of treasury related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated supervisory experience
• Advanced financial computation and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain difficult issues
• Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
• Ability to streamline processes, integrate, and associate pieces of information gathered from multiple sources and apply to projects
• Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• CPA, CTP, and/or CFA
• Familiarity with Bloomberg system and online banking systems
• Experience with tax concepts
• Knowledge of Excel Macros
