Lift Truck Operator $23.13/hour

Pay rate is $23.13/hour.

The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for the safe operation of various lift trucks with attachments while operating equipment in the Warehouse and Distribution center. The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for using the proper equipment for the intended tasks being performed. Supports management’s commitment to food safety and quality and compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and standards.


  • Follow all safety and GMP practices/standards.
  • Record accurate information, verify counts, and sign and complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Accurate picking products from various locations and loading onto trailers.
  • Unloading trailers/containers and putting product into various locations.
  • Communicate issues, operational and safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Complete / submit all required paperwork, as required, in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Core Skills and Qualifications

The ideal Lift Operator candidate will possess all of the following:

  • A valid Counterbalance Lift Truck Operator’s license.
  • Warehouse experience loading and offloading trailers with a forklift.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in compliance with the guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Principles.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods of time, bending, stretching and/or reaching. Able to work at extreme temperature conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written skills, visual concentration, and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and flexibility
  • Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible to work day and afternoon shifts which are 8 hours.
  • Prefer experience with SAP and or RF system.
