Dart's Scarborough manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and plant performance. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities while supporting safety, quality, service, and continuous improvement objectives across the facility.

- Pay Range: $90,000 - $95,000 CAD (actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience)

What You'll Do...
You'll be responsible for leading maintenance operations and supporting plant performance by ensuring equipment reliability, maintenance execution, and team development. Your day-to-day will include:
- Leading by example to promote a culture of safety, GMP compliance, quality, and continuous improvement
- Supervising maintenance teams responsible for the upkeep and repair of production equipment and machinery
- Spending approximately 75% of your time on the production floor supporting employees and operations
- Developing, implementing, and improving preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs
- Coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Partnering with Maintenance Planning and Production teams to build proactive weekly maintenance schedules
- Assigning work priorities based on production schedules, maintenance requirements, and equipment needs
- Ensuring maintenance activities comply with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring maintenance work order systems and driving improvements to maintenance processes and procedures
- Maintaining maintenance history and equipment performance data to support decision-making and long-term planning
- Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, service, efficiency, and maintenance performance
- Conducting floor audits, verifying adherence to standard work, and addressing process gaps as needed
- Leading root cause investigations and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring equipment issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment utilization, maintenance effectiveness, and operating costs
- Developing and coaching employees while fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance
- Utilizing technology and reporting tools to monitor performance and communicate results
What You'll Need...
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Three (3) or more years of maintenance and reliability experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, including experience with automation, robotics, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings
- Experience developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Experience utilizing maintenance management systems and production software; SAP experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Ability to train, coach, and develop employees on equipment, processes, and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and levels of the organization
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance best practices
