- Starting Rate: $17.60/hour (fixed & non-negotiable)
- Shift: 8-hour / COP Schedule | All Shifts Required
What You'll Do...
You'll be responsible for packaging finished products and ensuring all materials meet quality and customer standards. Your day-to-day will include:
- Following all safety policies, GMP requirements, quality standards, and work procedures
- Reviewing production schedules and ensuring packaging materials and supplies are available and staged for use
- Counting and packing finished products into cartons and other packaging materials accurately
- Completing finished goods documentation and production records accurately
- Inspecting materials, products, and containers throughout the packaging process for defects, quality concerns, and color consistency
- Ensuring only products that meet established quality standards are packaged for shipment
- Separating and disassembling non-conforming products for repackaging or further processing
- Following packaging specifications, including carton size, quantity, color, and labeling requirements
- Applying appropriate labels to cartons and packaging materials
- Communicating important product, equipment, or production issues during shift handovers
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping activities
- Supporting production operations and performing other duties as assigned
What You'll Need...
- Strong commitment to safety, attendance, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately inspect products and packaging
- Ability to follow written instructions, packaging specifications, and production procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, bending, climbing, and working in varying temperature conditions
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous improvement
Schedule & Union Environment
This is a unionized position, and union membership is mandatory upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- The role follows an 8-hour / COP schedule
- Availability for all shifts is required
- Shifts are assigned based on union seniority and existing preferences
