Day-to-Day Role:

  • Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.
  • Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.
  • Conducts risk assessment, monitoring, investigation and remediation activities.
  • Coordinate and direct operational process to ensure that operational systems are aligned with current audit standards, regulatory requirements and company goals.
  • Accept responsibility for product security.
  • Work with corporate personnel and members of local management team regarding plan, standards required of various audit entities.
  • Evaluate and implement operations processes, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and organizational method for record keeping systems that meets audit standards/requirements.
  • Track efforts to ensure corrective actions are taken to remediate risks and guarantee compliance.
  • Monitor, review and authorize change as needed to ensure audit standards are keep up to date.
  • Provide timely communication on timelines and target dates.
  • Act as representative for the company during audits and perform duties of audit staff when required.
  • Keep abreast of standards, trends, expectations, etc. which affect internal/external auditing policies and procedures.
  • Will cover Quality Control department and/or SAP Coordinator when Quality Supervisor or SAP Coordinator is not available or as needed.
  • Participate in safety programs.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to gather facts conduct interviews and interpret and apply rules, regulations and policies with sound judgement.
  • Ability to plan, organize, analyze, consolidate and present data and audit finds in clear /concise form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel/work collaboratively with departments and company.
  • Ability to train personnel as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality when needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with BRC audit procedures or other industry audit standards in a manufacturing environment preferred.
