We're seeking an HR leader to partner with plant leadership and help shape the future of the Waxahachie facility. 
 
This role will be instrumental in supporting facility growth, staffing new operations, building leadership capability, improving retention, and driving employee engagement. The successful candidate will bring a strong operational mindset, exceptional employee relations skills, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization

 

What You'll Do...

As the HR Manager, you’ll oversee a facility of 800 employees, playing a pivotal role in shaping our culture and driving key outcomes. You’ll lead the HR team while partnering with management to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement goals. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Partner with plant leadership to improve retention, reduce turnover, and strengthen workforce stability.
  • Lead 3 HR Business Partners, setting clear ownership, consistent employer standards and individual development plans.
  • Develop supervisors and team leads into strong people leaders to include coaching, onboarding and accountability.
  • Strengthen employee engagement through proactive workforce outreach and action planning.
  • Lead employee relations investigations and support compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Support organizational development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Use workforce data and business insights to drive measurable results.
  • Partner across HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.

 

What You'll Bring...

  • Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of progressive HR experience OR High School diploma with eight (8) years of HR Experience.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience managing HR staff OR equivalent relevant experience leading/ directing others as part of projects or initiatives at Dart.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience influencing leaders and driving accountability through coaching and partnership.
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, including investigations and application of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and employment laws.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and change management skills.
  • Experience leading change, organizational development, and workforce initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience managing HR teams.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Commitment to Dart values and building a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated success supporting significant business growth, facility expansions, new production lines, turnarounds, or workforce transformations preferred.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operation.
