Training Coordinator

Training Coordinator/Safety Leader implements and coordinates training, safety guidelines, safety standards and practices into each training program for the entire department. 
Day-to-Day Role:

  • Train the overall process of all manual and automated systems.
  • Manage and evaluate the overall training programs of all job descriptions.       
  • Maintain and update all documentation, files, records and paperwork related to all training and safety programs, including training manuals.  
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and implementation of all training and safety programs.  
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to implement quality standards, awareness and GMP practices so that all trainees can identify all quality problems upon completion of training.
  • Perform GMP and regulatory audits.  
  • Implement and coordinate safety guidelines for the butane process. 
  • Assist HR staff in conducting interviews and the selection of potential new employees.    
  • Work closely with production and maintenance supervision to successfully implement training and safety programs. 
  • Assist with training on how to properly fill out production quality sheets and all associated process raw material tracking documentation and understand the meaning of all entries.
  • Assist new employees in solving scheduling/shift problems, counsel on attendance problems and contact at home when absent from work.
  • Assist in making sure company issued items are given to all employess in the department. 
  • Perform other duties as directed by Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Shift Supervisor.
  • May direct the work of others 

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • One (1) year of training experience
  • One (1) year of experience working with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions to end-users
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work weekends as needed

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of occupational safety/hygiene experience 
  • SAP experience
