What You'll Do

As a Purchasing Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the materials and services needed to support our operations are available when and where they're needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders
• Support supplier sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries
• Research market trends, pricing, and supplier opportunities
• Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies with Accounting and suppliers
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data within ERP systems
• Monitor supplier performance, spending, and volume trends
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs
• Troubleshoot shipping, transportation, and customs-related issues
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports that support business decision-making

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, co-op, or project experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations
• Knowledge of purchase orders, planning, or inventory management concepts
• SAP or ERP system experience
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and reporting
